Services for Gregory Lynn Payne, 57, of Mesquite, TX are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019, at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Mike McKinney officiating.

Greg was born February 22, 1962, in Grand Saline, TX to George and JoAn Barber Payne.

He passed away April 1, 2019, in Mesquite, TX.

Greg grew up in Mesquite and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1980. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, dominoes and had a passion for music. Greg was a very strong willed, tough, compassionate and loving man.

He is survived by his Mother, JoAn Payne; Sister, Cheryl Gruner and Jim Sullivan; Sister, Becky Haislip and BJ Fineman; Nieces: Courtney and Michael Price, Taylor and Addison Stucky, Brooke Haislip, and Zoe Haislip; Great Nephews: Cole Gruner and Elijah Price; Great Niece, Sawyer Stucky; along with numerous cousins and chosen brothers.

Greg is preceded in death by his Father, George Payne.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.

Family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
