Interment will be at Lake Fork Memorial Cemetery.
Joseph passed away on January 2, 2020 in Tyler, TX.
He was born on April 23, 1928 in Maryville, Pennsylvania to Willard Willsion and Catherine McMurtrie.
Joseph was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed going to church. He attended The Nazarene Chapel in Grand Saline. Joseph was a loving father and grandfather and was very much loved.
He is preceded by his parents; son, Willard William McMurtrie; and son-in-law, Ricky Wayne Peavy Sr.
Joseph is survived by his Daughter, Lisa Peavy; Grandson, Joseph Peavy and wife Mollie; Granddaughter, Amanda Peavy; Grandson, Ricky Wayne Peavy Jr; Grandson, Elvis Dwayne; Granddaughter, Maria Lorena Jaurez; Grandson, Robert Joseph; and Granddaughter, Jenifer Raye.
