Mary Frances was known as “Nanny” to Wendy Bell, Brandon Bell, and Lauren Bell Bunch, and she played a significant role in their respective lives and upbringing. “Nanny” will be sorely missed.
Mary Frances was a devout student of the Bible, a follower of Jesus Christ, and a member of the church of Christ at Teel near Canton, Texas.
Mary Frances enjoyed a distinguished 28-year career as a property manager for companies such as Trammel Crow and Lincoln Properties. She was also active in “Priceless Personality” courses helping women increase confidence and abilities to better themselves in life and the workplace.
After retiring from property management, Mary Frances continued to leverage her leadership skills with a 17-year tenure as President of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Post 511 and as District President for 1 year. Under her leadership, hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised in support of veterans, the Dallas VA Hospital, cancer research, muscular dystrophy, other charitable organizations, plus American flag donations to dozens of schools, businesses, and organizations.
