Nancy Kay Wilson

Mrs. Wilson passed away January 20, 2017, at her home. She was born August 1, 1944, in Alice, Texas to Cozell Dean and Oma Adell Callahan Barrier.

Kay was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. She married Coy Wilson on July 13, 1963 at the Jackson Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a great mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a great cook and loved making pies. She enjoyed cooking for church fellowships. She also enjoyed working in her flower beds.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, Cozell and Oma Barrier; and her sister, Pat Strickland.

Kay is survived by her husband of 53 years, Coy Wilson of Canton; two sons and their wives: Kelly and Lisa Wilson of Canton and Kevin and Leslie Wilson of Frisco; five grandchildren: Jonathan, Joshua, Meagan, Bethany and Olivia Wilson; five great-grandchildren: Carter Jordan Wilson, Lilly Kai Godley, Tabor Dean Wilson, Marleigh Ross Wilson and Cohen DeAnda; brother, Don Barrier; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
