Norma Jean Magness

Services for Norma Jean Magness, 67, of Ennis, will be held 1 pm Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Jeff Godwin officiating. Interment will be in Meredith Campground Cemetery in the Walton Community.

Mrs. Magness passed away December 26, 2023 in Dallas with her husband and daughter by her side holding her hand. She was born September 7, 1956 in Dallas to Henry Leldon and Mildred Mae Williams.

Norma was a Baptist by faith. She grew up in Dallas. Norma loved her dogs, flowers and watching birds. She was a caretaker for elderly people for many years. Norma was involved in the "Cop on the Block" program and enjoyed feeding family and friends at gatherings. She was always there to help others.

Mrs. Magness is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred Williams; brother, Milton Williams; father-in-law, Morris Magness; and mother-in-law, Gwen Magness.

Norma is survived by her husband, Ronnie Magness; daughter, Kimberly Arrant; two sisters: Marie and Clyde Gillentine and Barbara Walker; special nephew, Chester and Shawna Williams and his daughters: Cheyenne and Sierra; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Leeson, Joe Reese, Oliver Poiss, James Walker, Matt Gillentine and Gary Gillentine.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
