Patti Lee Fay

Patti was born on May 27, 1964 at Dallas Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas to Kenneth Edell Bain and Patricia Lee Bain (Fasel).

Patti grew up in Desoto, Texas where She Graduated from Desoto High School in 1982 with Honors and a 4.0 GPA. During High School she was a member of the band, where she was the flag corps captain during marching season, and a member of the National Honors Society.

After graduating high school that summer she went to Cedar Valley Community College for the summer to do some of her basic classes before starting at Texas A&M. She originally went to Texas A&M for Vet School, Dental School and then decided to get her degree in Education to be a School Teacher. She transferred to North Texas to finish her Degree and complete her Student Teaching before receiving her Teaching Certificate.

She worked as a Teacher at Azle ISD in Azle, Texas. With her Son Houston Fay she moved closer to her parents around 1998 and went from Azle ISD to Kaufman ISD, but residing in Canton, Texas.

While teaching in Kaufman she went back to school to obtain a Double Masters Degree in Human Development and Administration. Patti Retired from Kaufman ISD in 2019 to be a Full-Time Nana to her 2 Grandsons and Caregiver to her Parents.

As important as inspiring students was to Patti, she also had a passion for traveling the world visiting some of the most beautiful places such as Australia, Switzerland, Italy, Scotland (a personal favorite) and so many more! She loved getting lost in the world of one of her many books. Being on her farm was her safe space where she enjoyed her therapy in the garden and tending to the animals.

Patti is survived by her Son; Houston Reid Fay and Wife Bailey of Wylie, Texas; Her 2 Precious Grandsons who she loved so so much Hostyn and Heath Fay of Wylie, Texas; Mother; Patricia Lee Bain (Fasel) of Canton, Texas, Brother; Kenneth W. Bain and Wife Nicole of Palestine, Texas, Sister; Deborah Lynn Bain of Arlington, Texas and Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Patti preceded in Death by her Father; Kenneth Edell Bain and Brother; David Lewis Bain.
