Ricky grew up in Garland and graduated from Garland High School. He was Catholic by faith. Ricky enjoyed working on cars, fishing and traveling. Ricky enjoyed singing Karaoke at home. The best days were ones spent visiting with family and friends. Ricky loved life and will dearly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Ricky is preceded in death by his daughter, Keserie Paredes; grandparents: Jovita Paredes, Joe Brooks, Bessie Brooks.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Josie Paredes; parents, Joe and Dorothy Paredes; children: Michael Paredes and Felicia Paredes; step children: Amber Perez, Joni Hernandez, Brenna Hernandez, Analisa Hernandez; sister, Regina Ramlall and husband, Anand; brother, Roderick Paredes and wife, Chelsea; grandfather, Genaro Paredes; sisters in-law, Amelia Armijo and Melissa Perez; brother in-laws, Joe Perez and Jesse Perez; step grandchildren: Anthony, Alex and Aria; a host of other family and friends.
