Ruby Faye Walker

Mrs. Walker passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, in Van. She was born August 14, 1930 in Brownsboro to Wylie Lee and Hattie Elnora Chapman Enas.

Ruby was a member of Pruitt Baptist Church. She lived in Van most of her life. Ruby was an LVN and worked for Villa Siesta Nursing Home and Dr. W.J. Garrett for many years. She was a great cook and enjoyed painting and quilting.

Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her parents, Wylie Lee and Hattie Elnora Enas; her husband of 55 years, H.J. Walker; and a brother, Coy Kellum.

Ruby is survived by her two sons and their wives: Ed and Marilyn Walker of Tyler and David and Janice Walker of Van; four grandchildren and their spouses: Phillip and Marty Walker, Christopher and Tricia Walker, Tracie and Chad McConnell and Wendy and Stephen Russell; thirteen great-grandchildren: Ashley West, Hailey Brown, Zach Brown, Cash Walker, Keeley Walker, Sydney McConnell, C.J. McConnell, Caitlin Russell, Georgia France, Jayden Russell, Christopher France, John Michael Walker and Andrew David Walker; and a cousin, Linda Arnold.

Visitation will be 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
