Heaven celebrated the glorious reunion of Stella Irene Williams, 87, of Ben Wheeler, Texas, with her Lord and Savior on July 17, 2025, in Troup, Texas. She was born on March 14, 1938, in Kaufman County, Texas to Frank C. Williams and Clara Ballard Williams.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 22, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home. Bro. Dwain Goodson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Irene grew up in the Van Zandt and Kaufman counties in a very close-knit family that loved each other enormously. Married to her one true love, James, for 46 years at his passing; they raised a big family full of love and laughter. Irene was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. Irene enjoyed reading the Bible, Christian fiction and the Sword of Lord newspaper, watching church services on tv and listening to music. She loved watching birds and squirrels from her window as well as the occasional deer. She loved watching basketball or any sport with her grandkids involved. Her best days were spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist church and a devoted Christian. Irene’s love for her family was only second to her love for the Lord. She shared her love for Jesus with anyone who knew her and Irene was a prayer warrior bringing all problems and cares to the almighty. Always praying for anyone and everyone and thanking God for his love and guidance. Irene’s desire was for everyone to accept Jesus and spend eternity in Heaven. Her love knew no bounds, to know this gentle lady was to love her.
She showed her love for God by her actions. Irene had the kindest soul and was a friend to all her children. Her legacy is one of sharing God and his love for everyone.
