

He was a loving husband, devout father, caring brother, and a brilliant person. He grew up in Paranaque, Philippines and was the oldest of six children to Eugenio Valentino, Sr. and Maria Jaucian. He graduated from Adamson University in 1954 with his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Married for 54 years to his wife Delia; the two shared an inseparable love filled with traveling, cooking, and raising their two children. Alejandro was a passionate gardener and landscaper throughout his entire life. Working for Bell Labs for 30 years, he was a dedicated and respected pioneer in the company. One of his greatest achievements is the patent of crystal growth which contributed to the usage of the microwave and medical & military devices. He loved spending time with the family taking road trips, camping and fishing. He loved exploring the USA from Maine to Florida to Yosemite National Park. Later, he would travel internationally to make pilgrimages to different shrines and historical places.
He is survived by his loving wife, Delia; son, Neil and his wife Agnes; their children Daniel and Catherine; His daughter, Marivic and her husband, Christopher; their children Jonathan and Ethan; Youngest sibling Luisita; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Alejandro will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Katharine Drexel Church can be made in Alejandro’s honor.
