Denny was an Air Force veteran spending 3 years in Michigan and a year in Greenland. He worked at Caterpillar as a Parts Rep for 35 years retiring July 1, 2001. He was a member of the American Post Legion #136, the Moose Lodge #1954, and the VFW Post #4353. He was also a little league coach for many years and on the District 50 School Board for 9 years.
He survived by his beloved spouse, Ruth Ann of 62 1/2 years; daughter, Tracy (Jeff) Pool; son Brian (Lisa) Sundberg; 8 grandsons; 8 great grandchildren; sister Janet Stanford of Colorado; a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayden and Betty Sundberg, and a granddaughter.
