Donald Walter Probst

Donald was born in Dearborn, Michigan on September 9, 1943, the proud son to Dorothy (Jaggers) and Carl Probst. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and capped off his work life with the Discover Card Network where he retired as Vice President. Donald was the loving husband of 51 years to Margaret Ann (Bibbler) Probst, who sadly preceded him in death in 2018. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Debra Cooper (John Holleran), and Dianne Probst (Jesse Cano); as well as grandson, Ryan Cooper.

A Funeral Mass for Donald will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025 inside the Chapel at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd South, Cape Coral, Florida 33904, (239) 574-4545. At the conclusion of the liturgy at church, family and friends will travel to Coral Ridge Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, FL 33991, (239) 283-0540 where the U.S. Navy Honor Guard will provide Military Honors to commemorate Donald's service to our nation as a member of the Armed Forces. Immediately thereafter, he will be laid to rest alongside his dearly departed wife Margaret in the Memory I Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family instead recommends a donation in honor of Donald be made in his memory to his place of worship, St. Andrew Catholic Church or to Hope Hospice who provided much care and comfort in his final days.
