Douglas was well educated and traveled the world. He graduated from Cranford High School in New Jersey, Ithaca College in New York, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from The Texas Chiropractic College. While he was in college he traveled extensively throughout Europe.
Douglas is survived by his mother Eileen, brother Gregory, sister Lara Forsman, brother in-law Mitchell Forsman and nephews Joseph and Jack Forsman. He is preceded in death by his beloved son William Thomas Wicklem and his father William Joseph Wicklem.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
