John Erich Ebner, Sr., 85, of North Ft. Myers, FL passed away Monday, January 6, 2013. Born October 15, 1928 to Mary and Henry in Chicago, IL, John married his true love Mary on September 10, 1945 and has lived in Ft. Myers for over 40 years. A hard working man that worked until 80, John owned a neon sign business and enjoyed fixing things. He loved spending time with family and was a member of the Christ Community Church in Tampa.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Mary; 4 loving children John Jr., Hugh, Frank and Mary; 10 cherished grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL, between the hours of 11 – 1pm with service and burial to follow.
