John Paul Temporale "Johnny Temp", 67, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on April 25, 1959, in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the beloved son of the late Domenic and Marguerite (Sasso) Temporale.
At just 15 years old, John met the love of his life, Mary, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Their lifelong partnership was a testament to devotion, friendship, and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a beautiful family and a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams.
John lived a life defined by creativity, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. An extraordinary artist and musician, he expressed himself through his work and touched countless lives with his talent. His passion for the arts was deeply rooted in his upbringing, inspired by his father and shaped by the many years he spent working alongside him and his family at the Palace Theater. He was always ready to help anyone in need, earning the affectionate nickname "McGyver" for his remarkable ability to fix anything.
John approached life with curiosity and passion, always finding beauty in the simplest moments. Whether strumming a tune, sketching an idea, or building something with his hands, he poured his heart into everything he did. He believed in showing up for people, in lending a hand without hesitation, and in finding joy even during life's challenges.
A devoted family man, John cherished his role as a husband, father, and especially being a grandfather-his grandchildren were the center of his world. He found joy in cooking for loved ones, tending to his garden, caring for animals, and embracing the beauty of nature in all its forms.
In his professional life, John worked alongside his family in their business, Temporale Climate Control, where he was known for his dedication, skill , and strong work ethic.
John leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, carried forward by the family he adored and the beauty he brought into the world.
