Lorraine Lucille Pratt

Lorraine was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 17, 1966. She grew up in Lakewood, NJ and later moved to Cape Coral, FL. She spent most of her career working as a dialysis technician where she brought comfort to the many patients she served. She later graduated from the Nursing program at Florida SouthWestern State College and became a Registered Nurse.

Lorraine was generous and loyal to family and friends. She had a kind heart and the biggest smile. She was funny and her laugh was contagious. She didn’t need much to make her happy. She was most happy when surrounded by her much-loved dogs, especially Zachary.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Grace Smith.

She is survived by her father, Arnold L. Pratt (Patricia), brothers Arnold Pratt (Bobbi) and Kevin Pratt (Lisa), sisters Elizabeth Merriken (Connie Barron) and Barbara Merriken, stepbrother Michael Hall, stepsister Jessica Kozak, nieces and nephews Jenna Pratt, Kristen Presnell, Alyssa King, Damon Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Victoria Dickenson, and Luke Hall, and beloved great nephews and great nieces Landon, Wesley, Emilia, Jaxon, Bennett, Quinton, Drea, Vienna, and Layla.

The family will receive visitors who wish to pay their respects at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
