I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet and fun loving Katie. She always had a great smile and I loved her accent. She definitely left footprints on the hearts of all who knew her. May you find comfort in all of your happy memories.

Joe, I played the video of Katy and her life. I grew up with Katy and spoke to her on the phone  for hours. Katy set me up with the Hallmark cards and was a very good friend. We kept in touch all thru the years and she always wanted to know how I was doing. I am glad she was in my life and I will never forget her kindness to me. I will miss Aunt Katie. I visited NJ and met her and her family for the first time when I was 16. I was impressed with her energy, her kindness and sense of humor. Although I am glad to have gotten to know her and her children and grandchildren.

When I think of Katy I see a warm smile, a kind heart, and a laugh.  I can hear her saying "How 'ya doin' in her wonderful New York accent.  She graced this life with fun, friendliness, and laughter.  We are thankful we got to know Katy, and we will miss her beautiful smile.

 Matthew (my son) and I would like to say we are so heartbroken over the loss of dear Katy. I spent a lot of time with Katy years ago when she helped me get my job at Crest Uniform in NYC---she sort of showed me the ropes. I looked up to her a lot. I watched her and how she laughed and didn't let things get to her. We ate lunch together sometimes and she forced me to see a Dr once, in NYC when I was not feeling well. She took me there. She showed me a lot of caring. I was at her wedding to my father. Over the years, although she and Dad lived in Florida, I knew she loved my Dad very much and I knew she was caring for him and that made me feel good. And I know when it counted Dad took care of her. Katy taught me some important lessons in life and left me with some strong and cherished impressions which I carry with me today about living life to the fullest, not worrying, doing your best and then letting it go. I'm so sorry for my Dad and also her children----her three children---who I know she adored -----and I am so very sorry for all of you, her grandchildren, friends, sisters, everyone.  I am thinking of you all, Matthew and I will keep you all in our prayers. I hope that the happy memories bring you comfort and strength during the upcoming days and months.
