

Ever since Mark was a young boy, fishing was a love of his life. He enjoyed any type of fishing but his favorites were trout and offshore fishing. Later on in his life when he moved to Arkansas, he took up sailing and enjoyed racing the Lightning and Flying Scot with his wife Vai. He later moved to Florida where his sailing was cut short due to his illness. He still enjoyed boating and fishing in Florida with his wife and went as often as he could.
He was a member of Grand Maumelle Sailing Club where he served as fleet captain leading Flying Scot Fleet 133.
During his work career, Mark held the position of Database Administrator for FIS and Acxiom as well.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vai; sister Karen Shepard (husband Eric); three brothers-in-law Michael, Tuan, and Ethan; three sisters-in-law Nhu, Yeu, and Nha; father-in-law Khoa; and many members of the George and Nguyen families. He is predeceased by parents Stephen George and Muriel (Pattee) Robbins.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30am, viewing at 9am, Saturday, November 19th at Forest Park Chapel in Forest Hills, NY, with the Rev Father Do Duy Nho officiating. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, NY. Coral Ridge Funeral Home of Cape Coral handled local arrangements.
