To you all the family.... our thoughts and prayers are with you, as we are saddened by the loss of Mark, we enjoyed working with him in the 28 some years we were with LCSO. I (Bobbi) got to work with him quite a bit out of East District, he always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He seemed like he loved his job as many of us did, know he loved his family. Quite a few of us left in 2008 and we're happy he got to have some special time to enjoy life. Without a doubt there were some of  LCSO's finest there to greet him inside heaven's gates. Mark was always there to help his crew. We had so many great times working together. I am so glad I had the opportunity to talk with Mark before he left us for a better home. One day we will meet again my friend RIP brother.

To Lynn, Alexis, Melissa and Nick:  I didn't know Mark for a long time but since I moved to HV, especially the ceramic nights. I got to know a very caring and loving husband, father and grandfather.  He loved his family and enjoyed his grand-kids whether going to baseball games or just being around the babies, you just knew he was a loving Papa. He fought the fight but like everyone else he finally lost his battle.  Now he can be pain free and at rest. He will be sadly missed by all that loved him. Prayers for all of you during this terrible time.

I worked with Mark several times throughout my career.  Mark was always a great supervisor to work for, and treated his people fairly.  He was a good cop and a great man, and I was honored to have known him.  Mark will be greatly missed.

I worked with Mark for many years, he was a great guy and a great Officer. I I remember when I first met him in December of 1982.  I was a brand spanking new rookie and he taught me a few things along the way.  Rest in Peace Mark.

It was with deep sorrow we learned of Mark's passing.  Mark was my sergeant both in North District patrol and in East.  He was always patient and always ready to give guidance and understanding. So very sorry to hear of Mark's passing.  He used to be my road Sergeant back at the old North District on Hancock Bridge Parkway.  He dearly loved his family - that is what I remember most about him.  Our heartfelt condolences to his family.

Sgt. Mark Vutsinas was not only a great man, he was a good wholesome man, great leader, which many of us looked up to and admired.
