No matter what he was doing, or where he was, he put his entire heart and soul into everything he accomplished in his time here with his dear family, friends and pets.
Peter, a former Detroit-area resident who moved to Florida nearly 40 years ago, was taken away too soon, passing in the early morning hours of Jan. 5 after a brief and very unexpected health battle. He was a longtime resident of Cape Coral, Fla.
He was an avid car enthusiast, especially Mustangs and Corvettes; and spent more than 40 years as the owner/proprietor of Cellar 54, a Cape Coral wine business. He loved a good bottle of vino, especially Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as fast cars, great food (especially his mother’s Italian cooking), his home, his family and friends, the beach, the water and life! He spent many months in the last few years visiting his children and grandchildren in Michigan, and always made sure to visit around the Woodward Dream Cruise event every August. He worked hard, and played hard too. He was a man who took pride in his Italian heritage, and would tell anyone who listened that he was a Siciliano.
He leaves behind his mother, Angeline Nobile; brother John Nobile; sister Annette Nobile; four daughters, Angie (Ryan) Nobile; Andrea Westfall; Kayhlin (Ross) Hedvicek; and Isabella Nobile; grandchildren Luke, Hayden, Cliff and Alice; former wife Starr Nobile; and many nieces and nephews, and cherished cousins, as well as his beloved dog Cooper.
He was predeceased by his father Peter Gaeton Nobile, sister Rosette Doyle, and son Peter Gaeton Nobile, III.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, at 950 Chiquita Blvd. South, Cape Coral, Fla., 33991.
