He was born on March 25, 1930 and is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen, of 66 years, three daughters Debora K. (Earl) Van Atta, Julie Schwind, Barbara (Jim) Lyndes. As well as six grandchildren Amy (Jason) Garcia, Melissa (Tim) Crider, Mary Anne (Shawn) Boyle, Madeline (Andrew) Keane, Nichele and Natalie Lyndes. In addition to seven great grandchildren Camryn and Collin Crider, Wesley, Clayton and Hannah Kate Boyle, Alice and Harrison Keane.
Robert served as a Marine in the Korean War and was a 1956 graduate of The Ohio State University. Interment to be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
