

He was a devoted husband, proud father, cherished grandfather, beloved sibling, fun loving uncle and friend to many. He died with dignity and grace, just as he lived his life. He was a respected banker for over 45 years until he retired and moved to Florida. The wisdom he attained through his career was shared via involvement with numerous organizations and committees within his civic and faith communities where he lived throughout his life. Steve was an avid sports fan and more recently developed a passion for biking. His strong work ethic and lessons of integrity, commitment and kindness will live on in his family.
Steve is survived by his wife Judy Ketteler (Cape Coral, FL), daughter Amy Clark and husband David (Lawrence, KS), son Reid Ketteler (Shawnee, KS), grandsons Brennan and Mitchell Clark and Gus Ketteler. Steve was preceded in death by his wife Marty Ketteler, his parents Jerome and Adelyne Ketteler and sister Cheryl Chapman.
A gathering will be held on Monday, March 10th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home between the hours of 5 - 7pm with a rosary to follow. An 11am Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11th at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
In lieu of flowers, Steve suggested memorial contributions to help aid others in their battle with ALS via the ALS Clinic, Attn: Carol Emmick, 13601 Plantation Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33912.
