 I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun tinted his white sails with a golden light, and as he disappeared from sight a voice at my side whispered, "She is gone".

But the sea was a narrow one. On the farther shore a little band of friends had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly they caught sight of the tiny sail and, at the very moment when my companion had whispered, "She is gone" a glad shout went up in joyous welcome, "Here she comes!"

Dear Stephanie and Carolyn,

I was so so sad to hear about your mom. I worked with her and Vicki at McD’s 30 years ago when I was still in high school and just graduated. They both “ adopted”me and we used to hang out after work and at your house and had just great times. Your mom and dad were great people and had a lot of love in their lives they were willing to share. 

I wish you both the best and just know everyone loved Sue, she made a difference and will be missed.

I’m sorry you’re  grieving, for  having  the loss of  a parent is tough. Your parents raised a kind, selfless , compassionate , quick witted,  smart and beautiful daughter.  
Think how happy your momma and daddy are to see each other again, and how both of them can smile down from heaven.
May time heal your broken heart. Remember the loved ones that have passed can hear you , have those long conversations to remember them. .

What a privilege to have been raised by the most amazing woman. She loved us all so much that future generations will hear the stories of Grandma Sue. She and my dad are together again, acting like teenagers reunited in love. We hope to continue to make you proud, my momma dukes <3

Sue was such a bright personality that made everyone around her smile. She was my Steph-mom & always made me feel so welcomed and included. Her daughters are the amazing people they are because of her and Dave ♥️ and I’m so thankful for them making them! I am so happy Sue & Dave are together again and that she is not in pain any more. 

I am so sorry to hear about Sue. Sue and Dave were the greatest, nicest and most down to earth people. I loved them both. They were true soulmates. I enjoyed hanging out with them when I lived in Coral Springs in the 80s. I called Sue recently when the hurricane was approaching Cape Coral and was very concerned for her safety. She was going through chemotherapy at the hospital and told me she felt safe being in the hospital. I wished her a Happy Thanksgiving today and then found out she had passed. I am so sad. Even though I never met Stephanie or Carolyn, I know you are special young ladies with parents like Sue and Dave.  My thoughts and prayers are with you both and the rest of the family. Rest assured they have been reunited in heaven.

Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of Sue.  We all shall miss her.  Sue seemed like a sister, not sister-in-law to me.    Rest in Peace, Sue
