

Thomas Joseph Imperato, 82, a resident of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by his two great loves Elisabeth, his loving wife, and Jennifer, his daughter, on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, FL.
Thomas was born in Florham Park, New York to August and Carmela Imperato. He has a Masters Degree in Psychology. He worked for decades as the owner of a wholesale food distribution company. He enjoyed golfing and was rather impressive at it with many club championships and 2 hole in ones to his name; to the envy of his daughter whom he imparted the love of golf on. He was an avid Mets fan and even got to see a World Series game of the Amazing 1986 team. He enjoyed traveling around the world and United States with his Liz. They were always off somewhere amazing and with great impulsivity. He was an Air Force Veteran and served during the Vietnam war as a Combat Ready Intercept Control Technician.
He is survived in the heart of Elisabeth, his wife, whom he adored and loved with all he had in his soul. They were one another’s true love. His step children Robert and wife Brooke, Madeline and wife Kayla, Brandon and fiancé Trinity.
He was also survived and truly loved and adored by his daughter Jennifer. They shared a close bond with and he will forever be missed for his incomparable generosity, humor, wit. He will never leave the heart and mind of those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S., Cape Coral, FL 33901.
