Travis Andrew Eck

Travis Andrew Eck passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 lovingly surrounded by his parents, his very devoted sister and best friend, his Grandma Peggy whom he loved dearly and his wonderful Aunt Cindy. He was born on March 26th, 1983 to his parents, Chris Wilson & Emil Eck.

Besides his parents he leaves behind his sister, Samantha Eck, his half brothers Michael Eck (Tiffany) and Greg Eck (Nicole), 2 twin nieces Olivia and Cambria Eck and his Grandma Peggy Wilson. He also leaves numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Two of his most treasured friends, Tony DePolito and Danielle Gahr whom he adopted in his heart as his brother and sister and many lifelong friends.

He was predeceased in death by his Grandpa Roy Wilson, his Grandma Eleanor and Grandpa Emil Eck.

We are struggling to figure out how to go on without this beautiful, precious and kind hearted soul. Travis loved all animals and living creatures. His funny wit, sarcasm and glorious sense of humor were the best parts of his personality including his huge heart. He loved all sports but mostly the Cubs and the Bears and shared those things with his dad and sister. He enjoyed movies and could always be counted on to recommend a good one. His mom is going to miss his fabulous cooking that he always took care to make a “presentation”.

He was employed by Gulf Coast Village in the independent living facility and absolutely loved the residents. He was so patient and kind with them. Previously employed by PetCoral Resort and Veterinary and loved all the animals that came in.

The Family would like to thank Hope Hospice for making his last hours as comfortable as possible.

A private ceremony was held at his bedside at Hope Hospice following his death and a private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
