Vito was a WWII military veteran. He retired in 1982 and moved to Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, tinkering in his garage, woodworking, puzzles and other various projects. He enjoyed long walks with his dog Sheri.
Vito is survived by his beloved children, James (Belinda) Asaro, Richard (Cynthia) Asaro, Robert Asaro and Debra (Thomas) Merwin; nine grandchildren, Michael Asaro, Jason Asaro, Dustin Asaro, Raquel Asaro, Dylan Asaro, Matthew Asaro, Austin Rosanti, Maison Rosanti and Emma Merwin. He also leaves behind eight great grandchildren, Jade Asaro, Jimmy Asaro, Kaylee Ann Asaro, Liam Asaro, Khristen Asaro, Alexis Asaro, Audree Asaro and Luca Asaro to forever cherish his memory.
Preceded in death by his wife Elvira Asaro and great grandson Nickolas Asaro.
A gathering will be held Saturday, November 9th, 2024, from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a memorial service starting at 12:00pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
