

Zola Schram Ingram passed away peacefully Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Cape Coral, Florida, at the age of 87. Born on June 15, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, she lived a life marked by dedication to education, family, and faith.
Zola earned her degree in Education from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas. She went on to devote many years to teaching, shaping the lives of countless students with her commitment to learning and personal growth. Her career reflected a deep belief in the importance of nurturing young minds.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jack Ingram; children Karen (Al, deceased) Ingram Dunning, Jack (Terry) Ingram, and Michael (Cameron) Ingram; grandchildren Chris, Jennifer, Michael, Tommy, Erin, John, and Ariana. Zola also leaves behind great-grandchildren Jessenya and Jayda. She was preceded in death by her son Tom Ingram and daughter Laura Ingram.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Katherine Drexel in Cape Coral, Florida, on a date to be determined. A memorial mass will also take place at a later date at St. Michael the Archangel in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
A 11am Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, August 4th at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, with inurnment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Catholic Charities.
Zola’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched and through the love of her family. Her memory will bring comfort to all who knew her.
