Guillaume Armand Adrien Joseph Cruywels, late of Alida, Saskatchewan, passed away at Regina, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the age of 71 years.
Armand was born July 27, 1947 in Manor, Saskatchewan. He was the 4th of 5 children to Guillaume and Regina Cruywels. As a child on the family farm, he is remembered as an adventures and mischievous child, who loved to make everyone laugh with his stories and jokes. Growing up he attended school in Cantal, Wauchope and Manor. Armand always had a passionate zest for life as it was often displayed with his dance moves at community socials, weddings and parties.
On April 5, 1975 he married his life partner, Meryle Blakley. They began their life of farming together, but most important to Armand was family. Together they had 3 children. My prayers to the family at this time. I was saddened to hear of Armand's passing. I know how very much he loved his family and how much his family loved him. I was fortunate enough to meet Armand at Marlene and Walter Buettners daughter, Janene's wedding. I spent several hours discussing farming and dairy cows with Armand and thoroughly enjoyed myself hearing his ideas.
He will be missed by many.
My sincere condolences.

Sending heartfelt condolensces to all of you: Meryle, Aron, Rachelle and families. Armand’s love & all the special happy memories will forever be in your hearts. It was meaningful to see Armand at my dad’s service last year (almost one year ago) and have him express that he wouldn’t have missed it for the world ... wiping a tear from his eye. We never forget or stop missing our loved ones yet we really do learn to find comfort in the knowingness that they are gone home and are close to us in a different way now. Love & prayers to all.
With warmth, Heather Lemieux
