I'll always remember Gord's quick wit and unique sense of humour. He had a special way of making you feel at ease; I always enjoyed visiting with Gord. Gord was a member of our Govan Grad Class of 1974. Sadly 3 members of the class have now been lost to dreaded cancer - and all much too soon. We miss you Robin, Bill, and Gord.

My greatest condolences to Royce, Evan, Ashley and families. Gord was a great father, good friend and much too young. I made some good memories in Govan; Gord shooting a Mulie buck at the bottom of a big coulee and then laughing as Evan and I had to drag it out, us plugging his kitchen sink with feathers (a few times), Gord making Turkey dinner for us, Manny as a pup licking up spilled rye off the floor and trying to start a fight with old Jack, and of course always chasing Booners and standing side by side shooting at the biggest buck of our lives . Lots of great memories that will last forever. Peace be with you old friend.

Greatest thoughts and prayers to Gords family. Never had the pleasure of meeting you but heard lots about you. I worked with Gord in 2014 for Kevin. He and I grew to be great friends. Your father was a great kind hearted man who always had a smile and a story to share. Talking about your trips to Arizona every year sending me hunting pictures from the hunts you all had. Even about Phil getting a ford truck on a trade in and how dare he not have told Gord lol. Your father always had time to stop and visit with anyone even if he really didn’t have the time. He wouldn’t think twice about stopping to say high if he seen me on the road. Or to anyone else who might just have a chit chat. The news of his passing came with great snadness. He truly was a great man and will forever be missed.
