ADD A MEMORY
Bill Murphy

1 April 2019

I remember Mr. Lees very well from when he was owner of the Flying L Ranch in Newfoundland. I was good friends with the boys and spent a lot of time working on the ranch. I have fond memories of many great meals with the family. Mrs. Lees was like a mother to me and Mr. Lees was the hardest working man I ever met and they both had a great influence on my life.

I am just seeing this tonight and thought I would offer my sincere condolences to the family.

Mary Lees Thomson was my mother and, from 1944 when I was eleven years old until 1949, my brother and I spent most of the summer at the Lees Farm. Harold was another "brother" to us. He taught us a lot about responsibility and we loved him.

Heather and I send our sincere condolences to the Lees Family.
