Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Even though I haven't seen Rennie in years I have kept in touch with the family. I have such fond memories of being at the Staples farm. So many games of kick the can, Rennie always tried to scare me with ghost stories lol. It was never dull visiting Jeff Pat Chad Rennie and Kurt. I'm so glad I had the privilege of being friends with the Family. Peace be with you Rennie.

So sorry to see this notice. Unfortunately we can not come to the service as we have a commitment in Saskatoon that day. Ren always had a smile even through the years of trouble he experienced. We remember him as a happy-go-lucky child. Our deepest sympathies to Norma and all the Staples family.

"Hey, where's my cheeseburger?"

Before I knew his name, I knew Rennie as that cheeseburger guy.

He would ask us that everytime we saw him for as long as I can remember, then would wait for our little giggles and response "silly, we don't have any cheeseburgers".

He would get the biggest grin. 10 minutes later he would ask us again. "Hey, where's my cheeseburger?".

As the only "little cousins" at family gatherings for many years, he always made us feel like we belonged.

A fond memory for sure.
