Donald William Strack

Donald William Strack of Carmel, IN went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, September 8, 2022, after 66 years of selflessly loving others well and always seeing the best in people. His children were fortunate to have an earthly father that gave them a small but significant glimpse of what a Heavenly Father is like - present, patient, affectionate and unconditionally loving. He left no doubt that he loved his wife of 45 years, his children and his 10 grandchildren - modeling and seeding generational blessings for healthy marriages and strong parental relationships. Don’s spirit lives on in his loving wife Lori Strack; son Dr. Donnie Strack (Sarah); daughter Emily Rockwood (Brad) and grandchildren Ellabeth, Anderson, Lorigrace, Lilajean, Lucie, Evaleigh, Louie, Harrison, Islarose, and Whitaker. He was adored by his siblings Mary Ann Pelley (late husband Dick), Carolyn Sulima (Jack), Cindy Wolf (John), and Gary Strack, along with his loving parents, Fred and Harriett Strack who went before him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14th at Traders Point North Christian Church from 12-2pm, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 2pm. Traders Point North is located at 1242 West 136th Street, Carmel, IN 46032. In lieu of flowers, the family simply asks that you "go make someone's day a little better." Smile at someone passing by, help someone before they have to ask, or make a small donation to your favorite cause in his honor. Be the hands and feet of Jesus in someone else's life as our amazing father always was. "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
