Marjorie "Jodie" Ruane Terlisner, age 54, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Jodie was born March 28, 1967 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to her parents Marjorie (Ganter) and Kenneth Scholtz.
Jodie is survived by her husband, John L. Terlisner; her sons Jack and Peter Terlisner, her parents, her sister Molly Messineo (Doug), her brother Ken Scholtz (Tracy) and her nieces and nephews who she adored.
Jodie was preceded in death by an infant son Louis Terlisner and her grandparents Frank & Erma Jean Scholtz and Francis & Ann Ganter.
After graduating from Miami University, Jodie went on to have an adventurous career of 16 years with United Airlines in Marketing and Carrier relations that took her around the world. While living and working in Chicago, she met the love of her life. After a short engagement, they were married in 2001 and this past June celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. Without a doubt, Jodie’s proudest accomplishment and most coveted role was being a devoted wife to John, and a loving mother and biggest fan to Jack and Peter; all while giving her time and talent to causes near and dear to her heart.
The adventure continued as John’s career would move them back and forth between Carmel and Atlanta. During these years, Jodie’s vivacious spirit built lasting friendships deeply rooted in her Catholic faith.
To know her, was to love her. Her infectious laugh, big smile, and signature snorts will never be forgotten.
Visitation for Jodie will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Rd., Carmel, Indiana 46032, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM.
