IN THE CARE OF
Leppert Mortuaries – Carmel
Richard was born on March 26, 1941 to James and Rose Marie Perry in Indianapolis, Indiana. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Susan Perry. Together they raised three children, son Michael Perry [Teresa], son Steven Perry, and daughter Malinda Taylor. Richard is survived by his sister Patricia Payne and brother James Perry (Judy). Richard will forever be remembered by his grandchildren Angie Walls [Ursula], Anthony Perry, Chloe Taylor, and great grandchild Haven Walls.
Richard worked for many years at Howard W. Sams as a lithographer. Upon his retirement, he was best remembered for his outstanding work ethic and his eye for design and printwork.
Richard's passion was taking care of his family. Richard also enjoyed the outdoors, and he combined his two favorite things to make forever lasting memories with his family. Richard loved fishing and boating and was happy to finish his day on the grill and with his slice of apple pie.
Richard was known for his sweetest salt of the earth honest soul and will be greatly missed. Beloved husband, father, grandpa, and brother. You live on in our hearts.
Gone, but never forgotten.
A celebration of life for Richard will be held Friday October 2nd, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary, Carmel Chapel. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.leppertmortuarycarmel.com for the Perry family.
