Alene Dube

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm August 7, 2015 at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday August 8, 2015 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, Texas with Pastor Micah Miller of Prince of Peace, officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Memorial Carrollton, Texas.

Alene Ellen Drosche was born in Lexington, Texas to Oscar and Amanda Drosche on May 9, 1943. She went to school at Lexington High School. Alene married Raymond Dube on August 11, 1962 in Lexington, Texas. She worked as an administrator for Brockway Standard for 40+ years and has been a member of Prince of Peach Lutheran Church for 45+ years.

Alene was very devoted to her family, enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and was an amazing southern cook with a German flair. Anyone that ever met Alene would agree that she was the nicest person you could ever meet. She always had a positive outlook on life…her glass was always half full.

Alene is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Amanda Drosche.

Alene is survived by her husband Raymond Dube, sons Michael Dube and wife Kindall, Randy Dube and wife Tammy. Her brothers Marvin Drosche, Darvin Drosche, and Edward Drosche. Her 5 grandchildren Tanner, Andrew, Kelsey, Jeanné and Kaitlin.

Pallbearers will be Michael Dube, Randy Dube, Tanner Dube, Andrew Dube, Brandon Drosche and Rob Wilson.

The Dube family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Anil Bhogaraju, Dr. Sam Eljammal, Pastor Micah Miller and Roger Dreyer of Prince of Peace.
