Bobby Glen Moore was born on June 23, 1936 in Whitesboro, TX and passed away on October 2, 2020, in Carrollton, TX after a sudden downturn in his battle with multiple myeloma.
Bobby was a United States Veteran and served proudly in the United States Army National Guard for 9 years. Bobby grew up in Callisburg TX, graduating from Callisburg High School in 1955 before settling in Carrollton and working as Plant Manager at Jackson-Deerfield for 52 years until the company closed the plant and moved to Pennsylvania, otherwise he would probably still be working there.
Following his retirement in 2016, Bobby kept busy by working in his garden and playing dominoes with his friends. He was active at Webb Chapel Church of Christ for 40+ years. Bobby will long be remembered for his infectious laugh and devotion to his wife, Pat. One of his favorite activities was being Papaw for his grand and great grandkids, which they loved.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, James Vernon Moore and Ina Agnes (Finley) Moore as well as his brothers, John Moore and Troy Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Nell Moore; his sister, Wanda Sue Chrisman and husband Dewayne of Plano, TX; his children, James Moore and Julia Moore of Brenham, TX; his wife’s sons and their spouses, Edward and Kari Wood of The Colony, TX and Clark and Maria Wood of Victorville, CA; his six grandchildren, Amanda McKenzie and her husband Scott, Tiffany Moore, Justin Moore, Nicholas Wood, Kristin Wood and Jayson Wood; his great grandchildren, Chase Stein and Leon McKenzie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on October 10, 2020 at 9:00 am at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35e, Carrollton, TX.
Funeral Service will be held on October 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35e, Carrollton, TX.
Committal Service will be held on October 10, 2020 at 12:30 pm at Callisburg Cemetery, Callisburg, TX.
