David Sylvester Thames

David was born to Lillie M. Cambell and Lester Thames on October 9th, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. David graduated from West Side High School. He continued his education and graduated from Ivy Technical College, having studied basic electricity, heating fundamentals. He also attended Brookhaven Community College where he studied Microsoft office suite and P.C. repair. He was a licensed Insurance Agent for Health Market.

On June 4th 2004 David was United in Holy Matrimony to Cynthia Johnson. He moved to Carrollton, Texas in 2004. He confessed a Hope in Christ and was baptized at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. David love to sing.

He was preceded in Death by both parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and a nephew.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Cynthia; Daughters: Jessica Gregory and Brittney Johnson (Cordero Holmes); Sons: David Thames II and Thomas Johnson (Brie); Sisters: Earlene, Charlene, Marie, Laverne (Bonnie), Tori Thames, and Rosetta Campbell; Special Brothers: Chris (Deloris) Steele and Ray (Tootsie Bandy); Brothers: Dennis (Willette) Campbell, Larry (Inez) Thames, and Kenneth Norvell; 5 Granddaughters, 5 Grandsons, 1 Great Grandchild; Sister-in-law: Bridgette, Robin (Ken), and Linda; Special Niece Kim (Bob) and Monique. He also leaves behind a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
