

Ina Jane (Story) DuVall was born on March 7, 1930 in Gentry, Arkansas to Lonnie and Amy Story. She grew up in Gentry and was the co-valedictorian of her high school class, excelling at typing and shorthand. After graduation she moved to Bixby, Oklahoma and it was there that she met her future husband while working as a bank teller. They were married on December 29, 1949. They moved to San Diego, California and lived there while Kenneth served in the United States Navy. Upon Kenneth's discharge, they moved to Dallas, Texas and ultimately settled down in Farmers Branch and then Carrollton. Ina worked for Galbraith Steel as an executive secretary for 7 years until she decided to be a stay-at-home mom. During this time she did transcribing and typing work from home for Children's Home Bible Clubs, as well as teaching in-home Bible studies for children wherever she was called. In the late 1970's, she went back to work as an executive secretary for both the district and regional managers of Gold Bond Building Products. She worked there for 16 years until their Dallas office closed. She then worked for several years as a secretary for a property tax consultant. She spent her retirement years helping out with her and Kenneth's charter bus company and went on various trips. She was a member of Webb Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth; her daughter Teresa and son-in-law Don Walker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 6 - 8 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 am at Webb Chapel United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch with interment at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:30 am.
