I did not know Joseph Waldorf Leaney. From the pictures and reading through the tributes, he must have been a wonderful beautiful man! He looks like my Uncle Frank! I am sorry I did not find him sooner and am so sorry for his loss. I am his 2x cousin. My great grandfather, John James Waldorf, was his uncle, the eldest of James Waldorf's children and brother to Annie Gertrude. My Aunt Leanne, grandaughter of John James Waldorf, 1x cousin, and I extend our condolences to the family. We also would love if somehow we could connect with John Edward Leaney, Jr. If someone would please reach out to him, we would love to speak with him. Email: LaurieBaughman@aol.com. My name is Laurie.

Hey Grandpa,

I'm sorry to hear that you have moved on from us.
Still, even if I can't tell you in person, I want you to know that I will cherish the memories I have of sitting around in your room for long chats.
I will be forever grateful for your support, especially when I was in Texas.
Most of all, I'm thankful that you got to meet my family and that I finally had an opportunity to really get to know you after all these years.
I'll miss you and always hold you dear in my heart.
Until our next meeting, gramps.

Love, Sam
