He was born in Syracuse, New York on June 14, 1961. Stan got his GED his senior year from Cornwall Collegiate Vocational School and enlisted in the US Marine Corp.
He was married to Marie H. Brodeur on September 29, 1981. The two later divorced in 2010 and at that time Stanley made his journey to Texas where he made it his home.
Stan worked as a driver for Lyft for the last two years. He had a passion for helping the less fortunate, Sci-Fi movies and TV shows, and being the best Christian man and father he knew how to be.
He is survived by his daughters; Natasha Simmons and Amanda Simmons, grandsons; Jeremiah Parker and Joseph Templer, siblings; Charles Simmons, Robert Simmons, Laura Simmons, Jami Freeman, and Tammy Ramirez and his significant other Alice Njeri.
A committal service for Stan will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 3:30pm.
