Billy Mac Vera was born June 28, 1925 to John Vera and Hazel Doryland in Herington, KS. He served in the Navy for a few years during WWII and he was very handsome in his uniform. Billy and his wife, Evelyn Louise Ward were married in 1950 and had three beautiful children. Later in life, he was married to Jodi.
Billy worked at Owens Corning, then after having pneumonia, he went to computer school for computer programming and returned to Owens Corning to use his newly acquired training. He also worked for Click Bond, a manufacturer of aerospace industry.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Bob) Denney, Diana (Paul) Masden, and his sister Jill Louth. Grandchildren: Rebecca (Tom) Reddin, Jennifer (Patrick) Lowry, Christine (Brian) Ingram, and Michael (Rose) Vera. Great-grandchildren: Emily, Seth, and Samantha Reddin; Sophia and Nicholas Lowry; Mary Kate and Christopher Ingram; and Sage and Ari Vera; Lisa Louth (niece), Tony Louth (nephew), Michael Vera (nephew). He was preceded in death by his wife, Jodi, son, David Vera, and brother, John Vera.
