We loved riding motorcycles and camping. We enjoyed the grandkids, bbqing, going off-road, and exploring ghost towns.
Brian enjoyed cooking, fishing, hiking, gardening and just life in general.
He always said I was his beautiful and sexy wife. He was proud of me and I was proud of him.
When I think of Brian, I think of his infectious and uninhibited smile. He was a beautiful man with a beautiful heart.
He loved helping others. He spent many winter days snow blowing the neighborhood. He was happiest when he was doing for others.
He had his own style of humor. If you didn’t get him, he didn’t care. He just wanted people to be happy.
He was born in North Hollywood, Calif. but lived most of his life in Nevada. This is where he felt most at home. He explored all the ghost towns, back roads, gold mines, and sought out any history he could about this beautiful state.
Although, he was exactly the man he wanted to be, he had one flaw. He never finished what he started. This used to drive me nuts, but now makes me sad.... as he wasn’t finished spending the rest of his life with me. I will miss him immensely. He was my friend, my rock, my soulmate, my everything.
He is survived by me, his wife of 17 years, his son Nick Rosky and his wife Shawna, grandsons Cody and Christopher and granddaughter Madysen. Also his daughter Annaliese Lynch and granddaughters Alexxis and Serena, twin sister Gina Price and brothers John Rosky and Joel Bates, Uncle Ron Swaisgood, and several cousins.
He has been reunited with his mother Joyce Bates, father Paul Rosky, step father Chuck Bates, his youngest son Christopher Rosky, his grandson Caysen Rosky, his Uncle Bob, and his grandparents Ruth and Cory Groenendal.
Brian, I don’t know where to start without you. I’m not sure where I end and you begin. I know you are in a better place though. I look forward to seeing you again someday so we can finish what we started.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
Your wife and best friend,
Carol Rosky
