Ann Satterfield Cochran

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Orbin and Elma Satterfield, sisters and brothers-in-law Faye and Felton Gentry, Dot and Wayne Black, brother Billy Satterfield, brother-in-law Warren Milam, and sister-in-law, Colleen Satterfield. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Oscar and Eula Cochran, brothers-in-law Bobby Jean Cochran, Lamar Lowery, Ron Brown, and Gene Popham.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Wallace Cochran, children, Tim (Kriss) Cochran, Tonya (Chris) Poe; grandchildren, Amanda (Adam) Ferdon, Jessica (Brett) Lee, Emily Cochran, Cory Pass, Calen Pass, Cameron (Rachel) Pass, Collin Pass, and Taylor (Rachel) Poe; great-grandchildren Madison, Molly, and Piper Ferdon, Caden, Parker, and Hattie Lee, Abram and Annie Pass, Ellie and Tate Pass. She is also survived by sister Betty Milam, brother and sister-in-law Buddy and Jeanette Satterfield, and brother Larry Satterfield, brother-in-law Wendell Cochran, sisters-in-law Glenda Popham and Dolly Brown, sister and brother-in-law Teen and Tommy Baynard, and several special nieces and nephews.

Ann was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church and loved going to church especially during revivals. She loved her family and church family unconditionally. She loved fishing, family gatherings, fish fries, Easter egg hunts, and most of all…she loved the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Fairview Baptist Church 26 Fairview Dr SE, Cartersville with Reverend Johnny Carroll, Reverend Steve Price, and Reverend Bryan Prance officiating. The interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Cory Pass, Calen Pass, Cameron Pass, Collin Pass, Taylor Poe, Adam Ferdon, and Brett Lee serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home.
