

Arlon was born September 3, 1963 in Decatur, Alabama to James and Bobbie Ward. After graduating from Austin High School in 1981, he served in the United States Army at Fort Campbell as a helicopter mechanic from 1981 to 1983. After leaving the Army, he found a lifelong career as an engineering project manager.
Arlon is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pamela (Turney) Ward; his daughters, Amy Ward, Anna Everett and her husband, Matthew Everett; brother, James (Andy) Ward and his wife Kathy Ward; nieces and nephews.
Arlon is preceded in death by his father, James Ward; mother, Bobbie (Garnett) Ward; and brother, Bradley Alan Ward.
Arlon loved any outdoor activities, puzzles, and family adventures.
Gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January, 13, 2025 beginning at 12pm with a Celebration of Arlon’s life at 1pm at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120.
