I don’t remember much because I was so young, but what I do remember is the wilderness, the guitar, the campfires, the swing you built for us and showed how to build, teaching me everything I know about gun safety and the wilderness, walks to the lake, the day where a dog tried to attack me and you literally saved me. You are my hero my moms hero ryders hero and Gabe’s hero. I remember our last phone conversation, you asked me how I was doing where I was if I needed anything, I think back now and wish it was me that checked up on you more and cared more, I wish I could’ve been more open eared for you and more respectful, I’m 16 now and your the smartest man I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting, and when I’m 100 you will still be the smartest man pawpaw. Oh and we also threw the celebration of life party for you JUST like you said pawpaw everything was amazing, I slept through it..but I’m sure you’ve already got those apologies lol. We miss and love you pawpaw don’t play those strings too hard.
