Carol Webb

Mrs. Webb was born May 14, 1944, the daughter of the late, Roy and Evelyn Hitchcock, was retired from the Bartow County School System where she taught for many years at Adairsville Middle School, was very active in the Senior Center at Beaver Drive and was a member of First Congregational Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Webb, a daughter, Cindy Elizabeth Webb and a granddaughter, Emma Catherine Hayes.

Surviving are her children, Jeff and Valerie Webb, Tammy and Dale Childers, all of Cartersville, Teresa and Van Hayes of Trussville, Alabama, Tiffany and Mitchell Spires of Taylorsville, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, sister, Kathy Jones of Lynchburg, Tennessee, a brother and sister in law, Henry and Brenda Hitchcock of Hiawassee and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at First Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Nathan Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 185 Walker Road, Cartersville, Georgia from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon and evening.
