Kelley,
I will always cherish how your mom treated me like her daughter and always told me how much I reminded her of my mom who passed away in 1993.  Carole was very dear to my heart and I looked forward to our "chats" at choir rehearsal every Wednesday night.  Our families were very close and took a lot of trips together.  We had a lot in common since my parents and yours had one child.  I just want you to know, your mom never complained about pain even though I knew she hurt a lot of the time because of some on-going health issues.  She always talked about how the Lord blessed her in so many ways.  She talked about you and her grands and great-grand often and we would share how much joy our children and grandchildren added to our lives every day.   In fact, I can just see her now, walking down the street with my mom, sharing stories and having a grand reunion!  Bless you and Chuck and everything you have been through the past few weeks.  I know that God will carry you through.  You can rejoice in knowing that your mom and dad are together once again.  I know they love you very much.  They modeled and lead by example their enduring faith and commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, all of their days on this earth and it is evident in your life!  Love always, Terri

I was so sorry to hear about your dads passing and so surprised to hear of Ms Carole 's right after. Perry and I thought the world of both of them. Im so sorry for your loss my prayers are with you.

When Don and I moved to Cartersville 26 years ago, among the first people we met at Tabernacle Baptist Church were Carole, Bob, Chuck and Kelley.  Carole loved my family immediately and asked if she could adopt me, (I'm smiling).  Kelley was good with it, so from then on, Carole was my "Mom" and Kelley was my tiny little sister.  We actually looked so much alike as teenagers.  It was meant to be.

 From all kinds of celebrations like Christmases, December birthdays, being there at the hospital when Alecia and Casey were born, first birthday parties and celebrating each other when four weddings, eleven grandbabies and a GREAT grandbaby were born, she and I would hug and thank God for His awesome goodness.  

Every single time I saw Mom, she would reach up and squeeze my face with both hands (you know, where your lips do that poochy lips thing) and say, "Do you really and truly know how much I love you and your family?!"  We'd just smile and laugh, knowing it was true for both of us!

One of the things I coveted the most were her prayers.  I will miss those.  They were better than gold to me and my family, helping us to get up to the mountain tops and through some pretty deep valleys of life.  She was a wonderful mentor, but it was her humility that drew people to her.  When you were around her you could feel the presence of Jesus and she never had to say a word.  Being near her, holding her hand was enough.

It is a very rare and beautiful thing when God kisses us on the head, giving us a dear friend that we love better than family.  I will continue to thank Him for the precious gift of Mom. God had it planned before time began and it has been a great honor to be part of her family.  I am so happy that she is in the very presence of the Lord and one day when I see her in Heaven, we'll just pick up right where we left off.  And once again, she'll take her hands and squeeze my face!  Kelley, we will always be family.  All my love little Sis, Al

I am incredibly thankful to have had Miss Carole in my life as Kelley's Mom.  She loved and cared for me like I was one of her own.  My family and the Bryson family shared us kids.  I will remember how very kind and considerate she always was to everyone.   I will also remember how tough she has been to fight to live for 28 straight days at 97 pounds.  The very nicest thought I am thinking is that Miss Carole is now in Heaven, so quickly, with Mr. Bobby and they are rejoicing in knowing that they will see us all there some day.  Mr. Bobby will be  organizing and will have a map to guide us and know where everyone and everything is located (we used to listen as we fell asleep in the car to him on his CB radio "KQM-2418 over") and Miss Carole will delight in showing us all around.  To see the adult choir at Tabernacle without Miss Carole will be strange, but I will smile knowing that she loved her church and singing there so very much.  Kelley & Chuck - you are the bravest ones I know,  and I am here whenever you & yours need me...always.  

Kelly. I have known your mother for many years and loved and admired her  so very much. I am sorry for you losing  both parents and   parent’s in law so quickly.  Your mom always had a sweet smile. I remember seeing her last at Tabernacle at a service and she was wearing that sweet smile

So privileged to take care of this sweet lady for 2 days while in the hospital. Also her sweet husband who passed before her. She was a precious lady. I’m blessed that I could pray with her and know that she is now with her Savior! She told me one time “I sure miss my husband and I keep wondering what he is doing!”  Now she knows ❤️
