Christian W. Hopkins

Chris was born on April 16, 1985, the son of Michael “Mike” and Sue Hopkins of Taylorsville, GA.

Chris was a 2003 graduate of Cartersville High School and was active duty United States Navy, serving our country as a Corpsman travelling with the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife, Jocelyn Hopkins, his brother, Spencer Hopkins, and his grandmother, Carolyn Hopkins.

Funeral Mass for Chris was held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at the Catholic Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Cartersville. He will be laid to rest following Mass at the Georgia National Cemetery located on Highway 20 in Canton.

The family will received friends at the Church from 9:00 A.M. until the service hour.

A reception to celebrate Chris’s life was be held at The City Cellar & Loft in Downtown Cartersville.
