Doyle Wayne Roberson

Doyle Wayne Roberson, age 76 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Doyle was born in Aragon, GA on December 22, 1943 to the late J.C. Roberson and Lillian Stubbs Roberson. Doyle was a member of Waters Road Church of God for over 20 years and was in the construction industry all his life. Doyle is preceded in death by his sister; Linda Miller. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Jean Roberson, son; Wayne (Melissa) Roberson, daughters; Patty (Shannon) Jafolis, Dionna (Tim) Baker, grandchildren; Brenton (Tracy) Farthing, Caitlin Baker, Dylan Roberson, Ethan Baker, great grandson; Lincoln Farthing, brothers Ronald (Melba) Roberson, Darrell (Ann) Roberson, sisters; Faye (Donald) Young and Sheila Lewis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Miller and Cecil Waters officiating. The interment will follow at Floyd Memory Garden in Rome, GA, with Marvin Watters, Brent Farthing, Larry Patterson, Jr., Brian Shaw Ronald Roberson, Jr. and Tim Woods serving as pallbearers.
