Grady Jenkins

Mr. Jenkins was born November 5, 1920 in Cartersville, Georgia, son of the late Leonard C. Jenkins and Leola Jenkins. He was a retired textile worker and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in Germany. He was the oldest living member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Bailey; sisters & brothers, Thelma Luker, Frank Jenkins, Lois Tidwell, Mary Frances Holcomb, Jack Jenkins, Jr, Bobby Jenkins.

Survivors include sister, Carole Holcomb, Glenda Adams, Edna Amos, Louise Harper; brother, Tommy Jenkins; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon February 4th at 3:00 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.E. Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Todd Adams, Steve McBurnett, Clint Holcomb, Tony Tidwell, Steve Jenkins, Kenny Jenkins.
